People aged 75 and over, and those aged 12 and over who have a weakened immune system, will be eligible for a spring Covid-19 booster vaccine. Patients are advised to wait 6 months since their previous dose to get maximum protection from a spring booster.
To book a spring booster, or a first, second or third Covid-19 vaccine, please visit www.nhs.uk – Book or manage a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination.
If you are housebound and eligible for a spring booster, your GP surgery will contact you to arrange for your spring vaccine to be delivered at home.
The Croxted Primary Care Network (PCN) vaccination centre held at Paxton Green Group Practice closed on 1 Feb 2022. The three GP surgeries which form the PCN (Paxton Green Group Practice, Brockwell Park Surgery and the Old Dairy Health Centre) will instead be focussing on our usual GP services.
For general information on booster doses for non-housebound patients, and who is eligible, please see the NHS.UK link below. Please do not phone the three surgeries to book Covid-19 vaccine appointments as this will need to done through the national booking system: www.nhs.uk – Book or manage a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination.
