Once you have been granted on-line access to your records, this service will allow you to order repeat prescriptions, without having to visit, telephone or email the practice. You can then collect your prescription from the practice, once it is ready, or you can choose to nominate a pharmacy where we will forward the prescription for you to collect. That way, you only have to make one journey to the pharmacy.

To apply for access to this service, please follow the instructions to gain online access to your records by completing our online application form. Once you have completed the form, you will need to attend the practice with proof of identity and residence.

How long before I can collect my medication from the practice or pharmacy, once I’ve requested it online?

Each time you request a repeat prescription online, please allow at least 3 working days for your request to be processed. If you need a medication review then things may take longer, so, please submit your request when you still have at least one week’s supply left. This gives us enough time to process your request.

Do I need my prescriptions reviewed?

From time to time, it may be necessary for you to have a medication review before further prescriptions can be issued. This is to ensure that you are receiving the correct medication and that any necessary monitoring has taken place. If you need a medication review this will usually be indicated on the prescription or the practice will let you know. If you need a medication review please complete our online review form.
